Lama Kunga Rinpoche and the members of Ewam Choden Tibetan Buddhist Center are looking forward to welcoming  His Eminence Thartse Khen Rinpoche on his third visit to our Center on June and July 2024. \u2028\u2028
Ngor Thartse Khen Rinpoche is the 77th abbot  of Ngor, a main branch of the Sakyapa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in 1968 into a royal family in Mustang, Nepal, Rinpoche was ordained as a monk at the age of eight by His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche.  At the age of thirteen, he was recognized as Ngor Thartse Shabdrung Rinpoche by His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin.  \u2028\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H.E. Thartse Khen Rinpoche has kindly agreed to bestow the following empowerments over three days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Empowerment of CAKRASAMVARA ( \u0f60\u0f41\u0f7c\u0f62\u0f0b\u0f63\u0f7c\u0f0b\u0f56\u0f51\u0f7a\u0f0b\u0f58\u0f46\u0f7c\u0f42\u0f0b)(Khorlo Demchok) in the tradition of Krishnacharya ( \u0f53\u0f42\u0f0b\u0f54\u0f7c\u0f0b\u0f66\u0fa4\u0fb1\u0f7c\u0f51\u0f0b\u0f54\u0f0b) (Nagpopa)  – TWO DAYS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The Empowerment of VAJRAYOGINI (\u0f62\u0fa1\u0f7c\u0f0b\u0f62\u0f97\u0f7a\u0f0b\u0f62\u0fa3\u0f63\u0f0b\u0f60\u0f56\u0fb1\u0f7c\u0f62\u0f0b\u0f58) of Naropa (\u0f53\u0f0b\u0f62\u0f7c\u0f0b\u0f58\u0f41\u0f60\u0f0b\u0f66\u0fa4\u0fb1\u0f7c\u0f51\u0f0b) – ONE DAY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These empowerments are in person only, and there are some prerequisites, as follows.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to receive the Cakrasamvara Empowerment, you must have taken refuge with a lama.
This empowerment takes two days, and you must attend on both days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to receive the Vajrayogini Empowerment, you must have already received a Cakrasamvara Empowerment in person only,  from a lama (of any of the four Tibetan traditions). This empowerment takes one day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-Registration with Payment is required for both empowerments.

Cakrasamvara and Vajrayogini —  $183.00
The Vajrayogini Empowerment is limited to 40 people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vajrayogini — waiting list 
If there are fewer than 40 people registered for the “combo” above, then you may be able to register for the Vajrayogini Empowerment (as long as you have already received the Cakrasamvara as stated above in Prerequisites.)  The cost will be $80.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
