Rinpoche’s Paintings

Ven. Lama Kunga Rinpoche has always included arts and crafts in his activities.  A few examples–as dharma arts, he creates beautiful traditional brocade frames for Tibetan thangkas.  Years ago, he started and continues making ceramic Treasure Vases, which are explained and shown elsewhere on this website.  Over the years, Rinpoche has studied sculpture and painting (watercolor, oil, and acrylic) with Bay area teachers and with dharma students and friends who are artists.

Here is a selection of some of Lama Kunga Rinpoche’s oil paintings.  Other paintings will be posted when the photos of them are available.  All of the paintings shown here are for sale as a benefit to Ewam Choden.
