H. E. Khangsar Shabdrung Rinpoche

Rinpoche was born in Kalamentown, Dehradun, India, in 1990. At the age of seven, he was formally recognized as the reincarnation of H.E Ngor Khangsar 72nd Ngawang Khyentse Thupten Nyingpo Rinpoche by His Holiness Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche (41st Sakya Trizin) and he became the holder of the seat of Khangsar Labrang, which is one of Sakya Ngor’s four traditional schools (Luding, Thartse, Phende, and Khangsar).

There is no prerequisite for the Green Tara Empowerment. However,  a vegetarian diet for the entire day is necessary.

Green Tara is a Bodhisattva of enlightened activity and purified energy. This practice comforts, cures, and protects. Tara conquers fear and anxiety, and clears the way for the Dharma path to enlightenment to unfold.
